Hello, and welcome to Orleton CE Primary School’s website.

Orleton is a one form entry school, meaning we are big enough to have many outstanding facilities and staff expertise but, we are small enough to know children as individuals. Our governors help to drive our school towards its aim of being Outstanding and hold us to account for providing the very highest standard of education we can for the children in our care. We have strong community and parental links and are justifiably proud of the work we do as a central part of our village community. Our children are our greatest asset and for that reason you will usually be shown around our school by them. We greatly appreciate the support of our pupils' parents and trust that you will find pleasure in watching your child grow with us.

Our philosophy is that Orleton School should provide its pupils with a happy, caring and challenging environment in which they can acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to themselves and society. We aim to help each child enjoy a full and busy life within the school community by creating and sustaining sound social habits and by showing by example, the values of friendship, patience, consideration and self-control. All staff strive to ensure that each child achieves his or her potential intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.

We offer: academic excellence, a wide range of sporting opportunities, before and after school clubs, music lessons, outdoor learning (including Forest School) all within a fun, lively and supportive learning environment. If you’d like to know more, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
